(NTS) (Nasdaq:NTSC), a leading provider of quality and conformance testing and managed services, announced today that it has completed an agreement with SGS Taiwan Limited (SGS) to pursue the joint development of testing facilities to serve the Republic of China (Taiwan) and South Korean markets. The testing services planned to be offered initially will include USB Device and Hub, USB On-the-Go, USB Cable and Connector and Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Laboratory (WHQL) certifications.
National Technical Systems (NTS) has been certified for these technologies in the US for several years. Under the agreement, SGS will provide the manpower and facilities for the new testing services, and NTS will provide equipment, technical know-how and quality assurance to assist SGS in becoming an approved laboratory. NTS will remain the certifying agency and will continue to issue all final test reports and certification for the services identified above.
