NTS in Camden, AR, is seeking a Dynamics/Vibration Test Engineer for Test Department Manager position. The function of this role is to direct and manage the daily operations and personnel of the Dynamics Test Department, exercising judgment and discretion to plan and accomplish goals. The ideal candidate for this position is direct, result-focused, assertive, active, and fast paced, and has the experience needed to effectively mentor the crew as well as participate in high level technical discussions with onsite customers. In addition the candidate must be a team player with a strong sense of urgency who excels under pressure and has a commitment to overall customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Will schedule and perform testing as required
• Will provide technical input for equipment and facility enhancements/growth
• Will help ensure that programs are on schedule and customers are managed properly
• Hires, trains, disciplines and develops department staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Effective and frequent communication with superiors, peers and subordinates
• Coordinate between the Facility Manager, Operations Manager and all departments for the development and efficient project execution of existing and new services
• Collaborate with departments to meet internal and external customer needs
• Address personnel and test equipment issues as required
• Participate as team member to accomplish departmental & site objectives
• Perform test set ups and follow procedures
• Maintain test log sheets and record data during tests
• Program environmental thermal chamber controllers
• Set up data acquisition system
• Perform other duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship (present and future) and able to pass a drug test and DMV and extensive background check
• AS/AA degree or 2 year technical program background preferred. We will consider vibration/shock/dynamics “hands on” testing experience in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of leadership/supervisory/management experience is desired NOT required. The emphasis for this position is on finding a strong technical engineer with leadership abilities
• Must have 5 years of vibration/shock/dynamics “hands on” testing and troubleshooting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required
• Excellent people skills and be a strong team player willing to adapt as necessary
• Ability to tolerate stress and work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to share skills and knowledge with others and to delegate responsibility
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and analytical Skills
• Positive “Can Do” Attitude while displaying the initiative and ability to problem solve
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have the ability to work overtime hours as needed
