Sales Manager (Nuclear)

NTS is seeking a Sales Manager to work remotely anywhere in the US (preferably the East Coast) to sell testing services to the commercial nuclear power plant industry (both domestic and international). The primary responsibility is to generate new account business and grow and maintain existing accounts. NTS is the leading provider of independent testing, inspection and certification services. Our customers choose NTS because of our extraordinary expertise and testing capabilities in the defense, aerospace, nuclear and commercial industries.  We are looking for a dynamic individual who understands the commercial nuclear power industry and possesses a reasonable knowledge of commercial grade dedication, IEEE equipment qualification and or ASME QME1 qualification. This individual should ideally be established within the nuclear professional circles and organizations and be able to grasp NTS’ business model with little effort.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing all aspects of building and maintaining a sales pipeline
  • Planning daily-weekly-monthly sales activity
  • Proficient use of a CRM to manage and update sales activities
  • Maximizing revenue by presenting and selling company products and services to existing and potential customers
  • Communicating new service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Researching sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing, sales management, operations and technical service groups
  • Keeping abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with sales management and technical service areas
  • Participating in trade shows and conventions
  • Consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts
  • Establishing and building relationships with customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities
  • Prospecting and expanding the opportunities with the customer by understanding the customer needs

Required Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and able to pass a drug test and DMV and background check
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience to include new account/customer development and selling in a technical environment to the Commercial Nuclear Power Industry
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a solid team player
  • Must have technical knowledge and acumen in order to understand NTS’s capabilities
  • Expected travel is 50%
