M&A Analyst

The Associate, Corporate Development is responsible for supporting and driving key business initiatives, specifically focused on M&A activity. Will partner closely with our Chief Strategy Officer and Private Equity firm to support growth initiatives and drive strategy. Will support M&A strategy with market research, identification of targets, due diligence, pro forma and valuation models, processing transactions, management presentations, and successful integrations. Will Support VP of FP&A with enterprise-wide and regional business initiatives. Travel is estimated at 50%.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide research on market trends, competitive analytics, and acquisition targets in support of corporate growth initiatives
• Support acquisition and organic growth initiatives through financial modeling, core competency alignment, and overall company strategy development
• Provide superior analytical and modeling tools in support of M&A activities, including without limitation development of pro-forma financials, valuations, and collaboration on quality of earnings reports
• Perform and coordinate due diligence activities; document analysis and assessment of information; rigorous review of financial and other business information
• Project coordination of M&A transactions
• Maintain and foster collaborative relationships during deal acquisition period with internal and external parties
• Support internal integration planning and processes by working closely with regional operation teams
• Drive and develop a deep understanding of industry trends inclusive of threats and opportunities to the business

Required Education/Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Finance; Financial concentration highly preferred
• 2+ years of analytical experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate finance fundamentals
• Ability to work independently

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including building and maintaining complex models
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
• Demonstrated ability to work with team members in a collaborative and matrixed organization
