HR Administrator

NTS is seeking a seasoned HR Assistant/Administrator to assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties, and manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in functional areas such as: departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, executive administration, and employment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs
• Assists with recruiting and staffing logistics
• Employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping
• Assisting with employee relations and documentation
• Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting
• Company-wide committee facilitation and participation
• Company employee communication
• Assistance with compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping
• Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting; and employee services
• Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
• Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR group.
Required Education/Skills/Experience:
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and able to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be local
• 3+ years of experience working as an administrator supporting an HR Executive or a large HR department OR we will accept an entry level HR Generalist who prefers to focus on the administration duties related to HR
• Familiarity with multiple human resource disciplines (employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits and training and development)
• Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws, including all applicable laws in relation to leave, including Family Medical Leave Act and short-term disability
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Strong ability to exercise sound judgment
• Ability to identify problems and provide solutions before they reach major proportions
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong Initiative and ability to work as a solid team player
• Must have the confidence and ability to make decisions
• Must be self-starter with extensive record keeping and follow-up skills
• Proven organizational skills and keen attention to detail
