How to open your Mac download files

Our Mac software has been compressed, and may also be encrypted, using Aladdin Systems DropStuff version 5.5. In order to expand and decrypt the software you will need Stuffit Expander version 5.0 or later.

Some browsers, for example Internet Explorer, ship with Stuffit Expander version 5.x built in. When you download our Mac software, the compressed file will be automatically expanded during download and, if the file is encrypted, you will be prompted to provide a password which will be provided to you by Efficient Networks. Once you've entered the correct password, expansion will continue and you may be prompted for the location where you would like to save the expanded software. If you are not prompted for the location, the expanded software will probably be saved on your desktop or in your download folder.

If your browser does not automatically expand the file, you will need to expand it yourself with Stuffit Expander version 5.0 or later. You may already have it on your Mac. If not, you can download the free Stuffit Expander from the following location:

Note: Stuffit Expander version 4.5 and earlier versions are unable to expand these files and will either fail without completing or return an error indicating the file is corrupt.  If so, download the 5.5 version.
