Sirius/XM Ready is Sirius XM’s compliance program for vendors developing radios which support the two satellite radio standards. Sirius/XM Ready home theater systems or car stereos can be equipped with a tuner and antenna and allow the user to listen to all their favorite Sirius/XM radio stations. NTS has been selected by Sirius XM to be the exclusive provider of the Sirius/XM Ready certification to the consumer electronics industry.
The primary purpose of testing is to verify the compliance of a Sirius/XM Radio product according to test guidelines defined by Sirius XM, while reporting measurements, anomalies and non-compliance issues located during the test process. Testing covers areas such as: Power Up State; Channel Selection State; Active State; Advisory Messages; Hot Standby State; Sirius XM Marks; and ACC Test.
