NTS controls and operates the National Ordnance and Ballistic Test Center, situated within the Highland Industrial Park in Camden, Arkansas, formerly the WWII era Shumaker Naval Ammunition Depot.

Established in the early 1990s, NTS Camden's unique commercial testing complex is fully equipped to conduct a wide array of tests on weapon systems, ordnance, rocket motors, hazardous materials and commercial products. We are a third party certified package tester for the Department of Transportation.

As one of the most complete independent weapons and ordnance testing facilities in the country, Camden was developed by NTS to satisfy the defense industry's manufacturing and testing needs well into the future.
