Dwight Moore

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Dwight Moore, PE is Chief Operating Officer for NTS. In this role, he has responsibility for all Engineering, Operational, and Sales activities. Mr. Moore has over eighteen years of experience leading test laboratories and engineering services. He has a track record of building company value through effective and efficient process improvement and the implementation of "best practices". Under Mr. Moore's leadership, NTS has experienced record growth through organic and acquisition initiatives.

Prior to joining NTS, Mr. Moore was responsible for leading a $40M+ Manufacturing Operation for National Cash Register in Duluth, GA. This group produced state-of-the-art electronic cash registers and scanners. Mr. Moore implemented lean processes while maintaining high-production just-in-time manufacturing concepts. Many of the process improvements being implemented by NTS is rooted in Mr. Moore’s manufacturing experiences.

Prior to NCR, Mr. Moore worked for fortune 500 companies including General Electric and Lockheed Martin. While at Lockheed Martin, Mr. Moore had many positions of increasing responsibility in the Programs and Test Support Groups. As Sr. Program Manager, Mr. Moore was responsible for implementing major customer contracts and ensuring compliance to all requirements. As Test Support Manager, Mr. Moore lead all the internal environmental, Materials and Processes, and Metrology laboratories.

Mr. Moore began his career with General Electric in 1984 by accepting a position in their prestigious Manufacturing Management Program ( MMP ). After completing the two year program in 1986, Mr. Moore continued with General Electric until 1991. While at GE he held numerous engineering and Supervisory roles with an emphasis on improving manufacturing efficiencies and implementing new product lines. He had assignments at GE three business units including Drive systems Operations in Salem, VA, Aircraft Instruments Department in Wilmington, MA, and finally at Neutron Devices Department in Largo, FL.

Dwight has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida. After receiving his master’s degree, Mr. Moore received his Professional Engineering license which he maintains in good standing. His professional memberships include the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Florida Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In addition, he serves on the Board of the Supplier Advisory Council for the Supplier Excellence Alliance.
